Sad News

I’m wearing a t-shirt today that says: Life is not Easy. Life is not Perfect. Life is Good. How true that is for us today. We lost our wonderful dog, Bear to a twisted gut. Never saw this coming today. But this is life, yes? Didn’t I just write in my last blog: “We are often confused when our faith and beliefs do not match up with what we experience in life. It seems that no life is carefree. I don’t know what you are going through, but if you are living life, I suspect it is something. Possibly financial strains, problems at work or home, personal struggles, issues with your children or parents, addictions, anger, bitterness, maybe even feeling that the world would be better off without you. We all seek relief from the pains and strife that life throws at us unexpectedly, like an earthquake that shakes our world.”

    Oh what a beautiful newfie! We have had two, lost one to a twisted gut, so awful to go through. Vet couldn’t save him. Thanks for emailing me about your upcoming book. Best wishes for success and for a new dog in your life. Video is great, Trudy Samuelson

      Hi Trudy,
      So good to hear from you. Aren’t newfies the best! It was so hard to lose Bear. A twisted gut got him as well…so out of the blue and so sudden, it was shocking. We are glad to have had 9 great years with him!
